CrossfireX, a first-person shooter developed and published by Smilegate Entertainment for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on February 10, 2022, was the third installment in the Crossfire series.

It featured two single-player campaigns created by Remedy Entertainment, which were also available in Crossfire HD. However, the game received mainly negative reviews from critics.

On February 3, 2023, Smilegate announced that CrossfireX would be shutting down on May 18, 2023.
